Opportunity for an International Sales Manager to join a growing company in an expanding industry and be at the forefront of green technologies and their applications

Principal Responsibilities

As a design and manufacturer of innovative purification systems, their products utilize a proprietary and patented ionization technology that gives a competitive advantage in providing solutions to a wide variety of projects within the commercial, industrial, and institutional market segments.


The company is now seeking an International Sales Manager who will manage the rep network and the continued expansion within the International market.




  • Manage existing rep network and monitor sales activities against established guidelines; motivate improved performance.
  • Conduct annual evaluations of rep performance, establish annual goals and sales activities, recommend changes in rep relationships, compensation, and collaborate with management to implement them.
  • Evaluate and sign up manufacturer's reps in open territories to create a complete international rep network.
  • Train manufacturer's reps and set objectives and guidelines for sales performance
  • Develop sales proposals and engineering submittals for all reps as necessary
  • File weekly activity reports with management regarding contacts, activities, and results and follow up with weekly phone calls to discuss
  • Manage to an established expense budget to include T&E, local tradeshows, etc.
  • Lead the development of sales promotion and lead generation activities, including presence and staffing at local and international trade shows and industry events, to promote the technology and brand.
  • Suggest new products to be developed in response to end user needs and market opportunities
  • Develop an annual business plan with sales forecasts/quotas by territory/rep; expense budget; prioritized list of target accounts;
  • Develop pricing strategies, marketing ideas and sales growth objectives with the underlying goal of growing a profitable business unit



Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of ten years of rep sales management with at least five years of sales experience for an international manufacturer
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of HVAC systems
  • Extensive background of working with reps and calling on consulting engineers as well as end users
  • Demonstrate a consultative selling approach
  • Must be willing and able to travel 40-60% of the time
