Senior Product Marketing Manager – REF 01984AL

Headcount Engineering is now seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to assist and lead the development and growth of the next generation of products within this fast growing med-tech company.

 

Reporting into the Director of Product Management for the group you’re responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following;

 

·       Provide support with Strategic Marketing and Product Management

 

o   Development of a winning growth strategy for key target markets and segments

o   Identification of opportunities for new products and new features that will appeal to customers and help drive long term growth

o   Management of key product analytics including demand forecasting, historic performance

 

·       Support the sales team and key channel partners

o   Develop selling tools (ROI calculators, FAQs, technology battlecards, competitor rebuttals, sales pitches, application notes)

o   Develop product training content and utilize to train internal sales team and external channel partners; provide product demos as needed

o   As subject matter expert for the products provide day-to-day technical support for customer queries, RFQs RFPs, Tenders

 

·       Carry out market research to build competitive insights in the following areas:-

o   Customer key value drivers and needs (both channel partners and end users)

o   Key end user use cases / user stories in a range of different vertical markets

o   Behavioral aspects of customers including adoption, usage, price sensitivity

o   Understanding value / beneficial outcomes of disinfected and purified air in healthcare, educational, commercial, consumer settings etc.

o   Competitor research including technologies, positioning, value propositions, specifications, and pricing

 

·       Development of Product marketing collateral

o   Develop compelling product categorization, positioning and value propositions

o   Translate technical features into compelling benefits

o   Propose and develop draft product collateral in line with customer needs and consumption behaviours to support launch of new products

o   Develop product user manuals and other key content that can assist end users achieve full benefits of solutions

o   Provide support in product launch and growth activities including testing the market messaging, social media postings etc.

 

 

Key Experience and Skills:

Essential

·       Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or science

·       5+ years of relevant experience in product marketing / technical marketing of complex electronic devices, and/or software & mobile applications

·       Experience of providing technical sales support to both internal sales organization and external channel partners

·       Experience in product market research to determine key value drivers, needs and areas of competitive differentiation by key target customer segments

·       Experience in developing preliminary product positioning, value propositions, monetization of benefits, marketing collateral and sales presentations & tools

·       Be technically aware, and have experience of translating complex ideas into simple and engaging messages (both written and oral) to a non-technical audience

·       Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful with ability to quickly adapt to changes in priorities, circumstances, and direction

Desirable

·       Experience of working in medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare or other life-science based sector

·       Working understanding of FDA medical device marketing messaging language

·       Experience of smart, connected devices and sensors sector
