Utilities Engineer – REF 02048MED

The candidate will have responsibilities, including, but not limited to those listed below; 

·Implement a revamped asset management strategy for the operation and maintenance of black utilities equipment. 

Development and optimisation of services, contracts and budgets with equipment vendors and Service Providers.
·Working with Service Providers and Subject Matter Experts to maximise the life and performance of the utilities equipment. 

Ensuring that the utility maintenance standards are maintained to ensure safe and reliable operations by driving maintenance & asset management excellence.
Ensure continuous improvement of the preventative maintenance program including inventory requirements 
Support Subject Matter Experts & Equipment Owners with investigations, equipment modifications and small projects support.
·Overseeing service delivery and maintaining and growing relationships with Service Providers in partnership with clients stakeholders such as Operations, Maintenance, EHS, Quality, Procurement, global departments.

·Ensuring all the operating systems are in compliance with all Regulatory and Legal requirements including, EPA licence, Quality (cGDP/GMP’s), EHS, Global Engineering, design & construction directives, requirements & procedures.

·Participation in regulatory and corporate audits.



The successful candidate must possess:

Bachelors (Level 8) or Master’s Degree in a relevant Science/Engineering discipline with at least 5 years’ experience on an operating site. 
Experience implementing operating strategies and processes in an operating plant. 
Experience of CMMS systems to maximise the delivery and performance outputs 
Experience in how to plan maintenance, maintenance resources and an understanding of why maintenance planning is critical.
Knowledge and experience in KPI reporting and performance management of a Team/Department 


Experience in a biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility is advantageous. Broad knowledge of Process Design, Good Manufacturing Practices, Maintenance systems, and industry regulations related to the manufacture of pharmaceutical products. Demonstrated ability to build and sustain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including Manufacturing, Quality, EHS, and local community and regulatory agencies to meet site and Business requirements.
