We are currently partnered with a global pharmaceutical client and through our onsite engineering team we have the responsibility for driving and delivering capital projects effectively and efficiently.

We have fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our growing team, and the role will require leading various stages of projects from concept to detailed design in addition to support and mentor team members working on projects within a big pharma facility.

Project Engineer

Role

• Lead the execution of pharma process engineering from design until project handover to the client including C&Q
• Bring designs from concept development right through detailed design to construction and commissioning
• Prepare and update PFDs and P&IDs as part of process design development
• Coordination of the Process Design Team to achieve project deliverables
• Coordination of design with other design disciplines and equipment suppliers.
• Provide Technical input and support for Process Design Team
• Developing process solutions for new NPI, new projects and complex situations.
• Process calculations
• Interfacing with client design team/client stakeholders
• Lead Technical and Safety reviews
• Design of process and utilities - preparation of PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing calculations.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years project engineer experience within the pharmaceutical sector
• Knowledge of GMP regulations and industry standards
• Awareness of process engineering and process safety management
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
