Headcount Solutions are now seeking an experienced Structural Engineer. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering project team, the Structural Engineer will manage and lead a team engaged in multiple infrastructure projects.

Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide structural engineering technical expertise and advice from project concept through to detailed design and construction. Lead structural analysis and design analysis, preparation of detailed design reports, calculations.
• Promote and lead the safety management and demonstrating visible commitment to safety.
• Ensuring that Quality Procedures are implemented on all projects.
• Leading, managing and coordinating all relevant civil/ structural engineering and associated disciplines’ activities required to successfully deliver projects to approved scope, budget and programme including the management of civil works contracts.
• Carrying out site inspections and providing associated advice.

Requirements:

• 5 years’+ experience in a similar capacity and with a relevant 3rd level qualification
• Competent level of expertise in the delivery of structural engineering design, construction and manufacturing.
• Demonstrated a strong capability in assessing communicating and managing project critical technical risks.
• Strong communication and report writing skills.
