Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Engineering Project Scheduler to join a dynamic capital projects teams within this leading pharmaceutical client. This role is crucial for the successful planning, coordination, and execution of engineering and capital projects within a GMP-regulated environment. The ideal candidate will bring 7–8 years of relevant experience and demonstrate advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project, ensuring alignment with project scope, deliverables, and milestones.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to gather accurate data for schedule updates.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify schedule risks and delays, recommending mitigation strategies.
- Perform critical path analysis and resource leveling to optimize project execution.
- Produce regular schedule reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Support integrated master scheduling and portfolio management activities across multiple concurrent projects.
- Ensure schedules are aligned with regulatory compliance timelines, including validation, quality, and GMP readiness.
- Assist in change management by assessing schedule impacts of scope changes or unforeseen events.
- Participate in project meetings and lead schedule review sessions with cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- 7–8 years of experience in project scheduling within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, particularly in engineering or capital projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project is essential; knowledge of Primavera P6 or similar tools is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of engineering workflows, construction phases, and GMP compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to manage complex schedules involving multiple stakeholders and project phases.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
